Grace Assessment

This is a forward-focusing, two-session, collaborative workshop where participants will be working together to summarize the strengths, weaknesses, characteristics, desires, functions and more of Grace Community Church.

Pastor Roger Orman is an enthusiastic kingdom builder with many years experience in walking with churches in situations like ours, and he has a vested interest in our church: his grandchildren attend Grace. He is confident it will be helpful to see what bubbles up to the top after our interactive time together.

The more participation we have, the more effective this will be. That means we need you to join us!

This assessment will be used to help us build a more specific timeline and plan for the future of Grace.

Childcare Information

**This is a lot of hours in childcare. We don't want you to miss out because you need childcare, but if you have other options, please use those! If not, we're here for you.

Childcare provided by registration only for infants up to 12 years old.

We will have a dinner Friday, breakfast Saturday and snacks throughout the morning. Feel free to bring your kids favorites if you'd like! Crista will email with more specific details Sept 17th.

Who is it for?

Everyone ages 15+ who is invested and wants to participate in the future of Grace Community Church.

What if I can only attend a portion?

Come for that portion, but please still register as it will help us be prepared with any handouts for you. You can leave a note on the registration form if you’d like to.

Is there childcare?

By reservation through age 12, yes! This is a lot of hours in childcare, so if you have another good options, we encourage you to use them but we’re here if you need us! We have people ready to have fun with your kids.

What if I can’t attend? 

While it is impossible to find a time that will work for everyone’s schedule and life circumstances, we did the best we could in choosing from Pastor Orman’s limited availability in the near future. Due to the nature of this interactive event, there is no way to record or offer participation in any remote way.

Please know this: this will not be the only opportunity to have a voice in the future direction of Grace. 

We are still working on what that might look like, and will know more after this assessment. This is one step at the beginning of a months-long process. We will make announcements in church, in the bulletin, and via email through this entire process. You will not miss the boat!
