MEET OUR NEW PASTORS
Pastor of Discipleship
Kyle Barnette
Kyle accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior when he was 17 years old. He immediately had a hunger for God's Word and sharing it with others. At age 19, he preached his first sermon. In college he ran the FCA huddle at Salisbury University and was involved in Campus Crusade for Life. Upon graduation, he began a career in education and was heavily involved in youth ministry. He welcomed every chance that he had to speak at local churches, church events, men's breakfasts, youth rallies, mission trips, retreats, and more. In 2018, he was ordained and worked as a pastor part-time while continuing his career in education. Kyle also has a Master’s Degree from Liberty University in Teaching and Learning. In 2021, he and his family began attending Grace. Many of you have had the chance to get to know him in small group Bible study, the Academy classes, and church events, and have seen his passion for God's Word.
Pastor of Community - part time
Paul Wareham
Paul gave his life to the Lord in 1987. He has been attending Grace Community Church since 1993. Since then, he has been involved in many different ministries. He has led bible studies, prayer groups, and small groups. He was part of a jail ministry at Frederick County Adult Detention Center for 12 years, and has been involved with Divorce Care, the Steward team, Care Deacons, and property maintenance. Paul was also the project manager on the multipurpose space upstairs. His experience in serving God faithfully through these years has prepared him to be part of the pastoral team to care for our congregation. Paul has been ordained since 2007 as a minister and has performed many weddings and funerals. He has also had opportunities to preach on several occasions in the jail as well as at Grace. Paul has owned his own drywall and painting company since 1993 and has extensive experience in construction that will lend itself well to the physical needs of our church
