Fundraisers

Scholorship Policy/Form: GCC does have funds available to those needing financial assistance to attend a retreat or conference. Click here to download policy/form.

CAR WASH FUNDRAISERS: We have scheduled some fundraisers for Momentum! Please plan now to attend as many of these as possible if you're going to Momentum! All car washes will take place at the Route 40 Shell Station. We will have sign ups at Youth Group in the upcoming weeks for you to sign up for your shifts! *Saturday, May 11. *Saturday, May 25. *Saturday, June 29.

Discount Cards: Are still available to purchase. Card holders have access to deals and discounts at more than 100,000 national and regional retailers, hotels, restaurants and more. These deals and discounts are in-store, online and are also available through printed and mobile coupons. The card only costs $20! Here’s the best part, they offer a money-back guarantee to every cardholder. If after one year, the purchaser hasn’t saved a minimum of $20 the Samaritan Card Company will refund them their full $20!

T-shirts:

We are currently selling Lighthouse Youth ministry t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts & hooded sweatshirts. To purchase one of these, please see Eric Miller. Shirts are available Wednesday nights at the youth info table and Sunday mornings at the Connection Center. T-shirts are $10, long sleeve t-shirts are $15, and hoodies are $20. The proceeds of these sales will go into the group account.

Cup of Grace Café

Sign up at the info table to help with the Sunday morning “Cup of Grace Café.” Help is needed each week between services to make coffee and serve. You can earn money for your teen account by doing so. Talk to Nena Allevato (GregNena@AOL.com) for more details or to sign up.

How fundraisers work:

We use fundraisers for students to earn money to put towards all youth group events, including Momentum & retreats. When students earn money through an individual fundraiser (i.e. summer car washes, selling discount cards, church babysitting opportunities, Grace Cafe help, etc.) that money will get put into a teen account specifically for that student. The money in their teen account can only be spent for youth group events. Money that is put into the group account (i.e. t-shirt sales, aluminum can drive, donations etc.) is money that will be used for scholarship money.

If you have a fundraiser idea or need to know how much you have in your teen account, please talk to Eric Miller. We would love to provide as many opportunites for the teens to earn money for our events as possible.
